The new approach

Yesterday was a bad day. However, having had a nights sleep and re-thinking the situation, I decided to revert to type-not the emotional gibbering idiot of a stressed out daughter, but the professional, empowered health professional with 26 years of experience. These shoes represent the me I used to be- the CEO of an award winning hospice, who strove incessantly to deliver the highest quality palliative care to patients and families. Tomorrow I will be wearing them when I insist that things need to be different-and better.
