The new lake

This lake shore is the River Wye at Fownhope. Except usually you can't really see the river from this point. The flooding is so extensive the view is like looking out over a lake or delta. The wind adds small waves to Lake Fownhope to complete the illusion.
The past few winters have been memorable for the cold and snow(check out my year past blips...) and this winter will be equally memorable for the wet and windy weather.
