The lull after the storm

The wind howled all night but we woke to blue skies. Managed to shut myself away in my office to focus on work for the morning then off to the supermarket at The Marina to replenish our empty cupboards with much needed food.. I took the camera and was surprised at how calm everything appeared just a few hours after the stormy night. Sadly, I know this is not the situation for many other areas in the UK where people appear to be facing months of disruption.
