Gorillapod

You get an iPhone.

You take a few pictures with it.

Then you get some new lenses. They come in a wee velvet sac with a red drawcord. Cute. They'll do fish eye and wide angle. Crucially, there's also two macro lenses.

You try to take pictures with the macro lens and realise that you can't hold the iPhone steadily enough.

Some kind soul on Blipfoto advises you that there might be some tripod like device for an iPhone.

You end up with said device, called a Gorillapod.

I believe this is known as 'mission creep'.
