Stir Crazy Golf

Having been pretty much confined to barracks by the weather the last two days, my golfing partner Henri and I decided we were going stir crazy and, despite the weather forecast not being very encouraging, we decided to head for the course.

By the time we got half way down the 3rd fairway here, with the snow driving into our faces courtesy of an icy gale, we were beginning to question our sanity.

The only other group on the course just in front of us had just left the green and headed for the clubhouse but we kept going and our persistence was eventually rewarded by sunshine and warmer hands. Unfortunately my camera batteries had died by then.

The golf itself resembled crazy golf at times, having to negotiate the sort of puddles seen here, as well as mud and persistent strong winds, but we agreed that it was better than being stuck indoors.
