Water Buffalo...

led by an egret, being herded by farmers on motorcyles.

Sometimes things just happen. Yesterday we paid quite alot of money just to visit archaeological sites. Today we did "nothing" but started walking around the area where our guesthouse is...saw a kingfisher and came upon this lake with flamencos and other exotic birds and water-buffalo being herded by men on motorcyles, none of which mentioned in guidebook.s

Tomorrow we travel to Jaffna by bus. Most likely I will not have an internet connection.
