Dad's birthday!!

We celebrated another birthday for my DaddyO tonight. We had a yummy dinner of lasagna, salad and bread and yummy carrot cake made by Grammy. Dad likes to have simple consumable gifts, as he's not one for much clutter. This gift from my sister Stephanie was right down his alley!

The kids are much better, but the cold has struck the mama and I'm just barely hanging on.... Daddy should get home tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, tomorrow we will spend getting our family mail box stuffed full of mail for Dad!

It's been super windy here.. Not much rain, but it just feels cold, blustery and full of winter outside. It's coming on fast!

PS: I woke up this morning to Mia snuggling with me and stroking my face singing, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always... As long as I'm living, my mommy you'll be!" Melted my heart!

PPS: Since I wasn't feeling well and Dad's not here, both kids put together a bed time story for tonight. I thoroughly enjoyed their home made story of Hannah attending family camp!
