Absent Voices

This is an oil painting that I'm working on . It shows men working in the Greenock Sugar Sheds in past times. There are wooden boxs being wheeled out.....
They are some of the absent voices of the incredible folk who worked there.
The reds and yellows show the heat which the workers had to endure...... I was recently told that it was more difficult to work in summer than in winter.
This piece is still in progress....alot still to do.
Would really appreciate any constructive critism....always learning.
