Singapore as night falls.

Met some friends for drinks on the 32nd floor of a skyscraper which was a bar. The bar overlooked Marina Bay and as night fell the buildings looked spectacular. A lot of the buildings round the bay are on reclaimed land. What a city - it looks so futuristic.
This morning we went to the fabulous Botanic Gardens including the orchid gardens. Imagine Al's horror when I found orchids named after Margaret Thatcher , Lady Di and William and Kate! He very nearly had to lie down!
One of my highlights was seeing a crimson sunbird - stunning.
