The calm after the storm.

I had a few 'phone calls last night from friends and relatives, asking if I was O.K. as Colwyn Bay was featured on the National News, saying that it was one of the worst hit places in the storm. I was fortunate. Even though I lit candles in preparation, I still had power all night and there is no damage to my property. My daughter has lost a fence panel at her house, but it could have been a lot worse.
Walking along the prom this morning I expected to witness devastation, but, no! The sea was calm, there were actually people and dogs on the beach and everything appeared 'normal'. You wouldn't think that anything untoward had happened last night.
