Can Spring be far behind ?

Out in the garden, reassembling the bird table, sorting out the feeders, checking on the damage, including the two fence panels (the neighbour's responsibility), I found this pretty little primrose.

We've been so lucky.

yes, we had snow
yes, we are having yet another horrid hailstorm as I type
yes, we have had high winds
yes, some of our roads have been flooded

But we have had nothing like those people in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Somerset, the Thames valley, Cornwall, and now, the North West.

It comes to something when Virgin trains tweet "ABANDON ALL TRAVEL"

Thinking of you all (and around the world where in the USA the deep south is suffering snow and in Australia where an absence of rain is causing different worries)
