River Dee at Aldford, Chester

This is the pretty River Dee, at Aldford near Chester.

As with most Rivers on this side of the Country, its in flood! The level is expected to continue to rise, so took a quick run out there this morning whilst the bridge is still ok - an old stone bridge, but already the water has covered the arches, so not sure how long they will keep it open.

The River is flooded all the way up into Chester, and whilst there are some lovely photo opportunities, I won't take any of flooded houses etc on the Riverside, as personally I don't feel comfortable doing that - hence this photo looking up River towards the Chester, about 3 miles north.
