Basil

Basil, the fluffy star of today's Blip, is a little pomeranian puppy who belongs to a hairdresser friend that we visited today.

To say he's a bundle of energy is putting it mildy; like most puppies he does most of his greeting with needle like teeth (nothing says 'I love you' like a small dog desperate to get his mini-gnashers around your fingers and toes) and he's keen to jump all over you, given half the chance, all in the name of 'socialising'. I'm not really a small dog person (which you may have gathered from Jack and Zoey) but I have to say, he's a charming little so-and-so.

Luckily though, patience will out and eventually I managed to get him sitting nice and still for this portrait. Which just let's me want to ask one of my dogs "Jack, why can't you do this?"...
