It's Raining!!

OK - I can understand that my good friends in the UK will not share my joy.

But this rain is a life-saver.

Depending on which report you read, we could get between 30 mm and 100 mm of the wet stuff. It's the most rain we've seen since last September. It is likely to be the most February rain we have seen in about 30 years.

It means - the bush fire that has been burning in the mid-north for the last 30 odd days will be most likely extinguished.

It means - my rain water tank will be re-filled.

It means - my garden can shake its weary self, and be restored back to greenness (well, almost).

It means - the birds and other wildlife will have something to drink other than that put out by humans.

It's so exciting.
