Bent Shovel

For those who don't know, November of 2012 4 of us guys decided to chase a dream by starting our own clothing company. Bent Shovel started as a snowboarding clothing company, but we don't want to limit it to that by any means. We actually encourage you all to embrace the lifestyle we've adopted.

Our mission statement: "With our home being in the Midwest we aren’t necessarily offered the greatest snow, mountains, or parks to snowboard and ski on. The idea behind Bent Shovel clothing is that we don’t need the greatest conditions to ride hard. We are the MidBest, we use what we have and that’s it. Relate that to anything you do and you can succeed. Put your mind to every task you face. You can succeed using your inner talents, hard work, and the Bent Shovel mentality. ‪#‎getbent‬"

We've got about 45 different products available on our website. Since I graduated school with a graphic design degree and haven't found a big boy job yet, (currently searching...woohoo) this project is a good way to constantly keep my brain thinking. Day by day we get the chance to meet amazing people and it's truly a blessing meeting all of our fans, (especially people who order stuff that none of us know) and hear what kind of stories they have to share with us. We've got our clothing in a local skate shop in Madison, but mainly run off social media and our website. Recently we were approached by Zumiez to possibly talk business with them, but we aren't ready for that.
