Billy Liar

I had a nice day, today.

I did some work, went with a colleague to see a client (at which point I realised the bad weather was making itself felt in the north), and in the evening Milly and I went to see a sixth form production of 'Billy Liar' at the school.

It was hugely enjoyable. The acting was uniformly excellent and brought the dialogue to life without there being any sense that it was being performed. I always found the protagonist irritating in the film but this evening I was totally engaged.

Add to that some very pleasant company during the interval and a meal with Milly at The Royal afterwards, and, well, I'm countigng my blessings.
