Boots and Broken Promises

Much excitement this morning as there was (finally) snow in the front garden. Breakfast was quick, dressing and teeth cleaning done with expert speed. Snow boots on and out to play. 1 cm might as well have been 6 feet: they had all the fun in the world.
We were promised snow from November until May - 1cm mid-way through Feb seems like a broken promise - but at least we could let the boys play.
