Human Nature...

It's nice when people are nice. I'd always admired the man that seems to run the sewing machine repair shop in Edinburgh because of his rather obvious knowledge in all things sewing machine and sewing machine repair.

Today, second day in a row, I was picking up some wool and their debit card machine was playing up. After the second attempt at getting the machine to take the payment, he gave up. Upon giving up on the machine, he offered me the ball of wool on him. I assured him that I'd be back past and I'd drop off the money but it was a very nice gesture that made my day.
