Finally!

I have upgraded my iOS software!

The update said it needed 3.8gb of memory in order to update. I've had about 400mb since the upgrade was available.

I had no laptop to copy my photos and videos to, so I couldn't delete any.

I wanted to download Dropbox to copy my photos to, but I didn't have enough memory.....

Eventually I borrowed my neighbours laptop to copy my pics, to then copy them to my external hard drive.

I then deleted over 700 photos, which left me with 2.9gb free. I deleted several videos, and then had 5.7gb free.

So... 5.7 (available memory) - 3.8 (memory needed to update software) = 1.9 5.5 apparently!!??!?!? As 5.5gb is what I have free after I upgraded!????
The bloody thing has driven me mad, but at least now it's done, and I just have to hope my external hard drive doesn't die on me!!!
