Winter waiting...

Snapped one of the channel buoys at the Colintraive to Rhubodach narrows on the Kyles of Bute. The easterly was really shaking the marker hard - this was it right up high out of the water. The base would then disappear from sight. Quite a range for such a sheltered, inland place. The ferry was on Amber with the wind: they wait in Colintraive until almost time to come back from Rhubodach (where I was waiting) before they set off, then rush you on as they hold the ferry on the concrete slip. But made it back over we did!
