shells

another cheat, from the beach on sunday. the storms have washed up some lovely shells, big ones like these and little cowries too.

so a mixed day of bridesmaid dress shopping today. doomed from the outset with 4 wee ones in tow, really. you could see the assistants look of horror as we entered the shop, with our 40 sticky little fingers.

but we did manage to get me a gorgeous outfit and jill bought herself quite a nice white dress too ;) in fact it was almost a complete success, and then laurie had another raging temper tantrum all the way round m&s and half way down princes street. again started by absolutely nothing. so we headed straight for the train and by the time we got home it was driving sleet, so we had to run home- with 2 buggies, 2 scooters and 1 wedding dress. not quite the magical moments jill had in mind. that'll teach her to leave it so late to get married.
