Memorial

Busy day running between meetings, but at least I passed this jolly rhino a few times. Nice idea to commemorate Jim Haynes' contribution to the cultural life of the city with his bookshop on this site which nurtured so much creative talent in the 1960s here. The head was made by William Darrell of Edinburgh College of Art.
After work met up with an old friend passing through from down south. Lovely to see her and hear how much she's enjoyed visiting the city.
