L for...

L for Lenzie Moss. Visited my Dad today and we took a wander up the Moss, in the sleet and wind. It is a Nature Reserve, very marshy and boggy. I used to play up here as a kid. I used to love jumping around on the peat mounds, where cotton grew.
Sadly it is under constant threat of house building, which would be ridiculous as the land is no where near suitable for building upon, bad enough that so many of the housing estates near by are already built on green belt.
School goes back tomorrow for a short 2 day week.
