There was a break in the weather for a short while and as I was dropping Kathy off at the station I went along to the beach for some fresh air. Understandably, I was the only one there for a while until these two came along and conveniently started digging away. When their mum came I thought I should show her that I'd taken the photo and it turned out to be an old work colleague who moved to Toronto ten years ago and has just moved back. How odd! Mind you, not as odd as the big champagne bucket I bought from the closing down sale at the local deli, a fiver it was I couldn't say no could I?
