Sing, Read, Interpret, Learn, Have Fun

We have two new first grade teachers this year... This is only my second year in first after many in another grade... I have invited both teachers to bring their classes in to sing with us. There is SO MUCH involved with a "sing-a-long": the kids are in community, they are looking at the words they have already decoded, the are supported with the rhythm and melody of the song so reading is carried for them... they don't have to do that, they get to create their own parts to add to the song... and it is fun!
This is my passion, can you tell?!
