Silent hearts

Alex and I were busy this morning icing Valentine's Day cookies to share with friends.

It's getting harder and harder to be able to tell the difference between his and mine. He worked with such care and precision today on his cookies and the improvement on his icing skills is apparent. We both discovered, today, that neither of us like writing words with frosting. From here on out. . . our conversation heart cookies will find themselves with not a single word to say. Silence is much easier.
