Old and New

Well today was a busy day, only had the chance to get a couple photos. BUT, I did buy a new lens, I've been looking at a 50mm f1.8 for a little bit now and decided that I would get it.

What I was looking for is something similar to my old manual SLR I still love, and my favorite lens is a fixed lens, hence the picture.

Wish I had more time to play with the new addition though. Love the depth of field I can get with it! I had my new muay thai class, yup I am learning to kick butt all at the same time as enjoying a healthy lifestyle. Have had 3 classes so far, and it has got to be one of the hardest things, think boot camp style.

Tomorrow I will be going home for a friends surprise party and will hopefully get a chance to play and get used to the new lens.
