Sun

A day of contrasts; we had bright sunshine at lunchtime, followed by rain which turned to hail and then snow, the first of the winter although not a great deal. The snowfall coincided with my journey to the Lowry this evening (it had just cleared when I took this shot over the Quays towards the Imperial War Museum), so was wet and cold when I got there. Met some good friends though and had a good meal, a good laugh and saw a short but quirky and exhilarating show by Hofesh Shechter, so a great end to the day.
