Weirwolf

Something of an emergency blip, but a life story on TV of David Weir was a wonderful reminder of the incredible experience of watching David Weir winning a gold medal at the Olympic Stadium in 2012. It was a warm dry evening and the atmosphere was electric, the cheering totally deafening and the silence of the crowd when requested instantaneous. Such a privilege to watch those amazing athletes, including Johnnie Peacock and Hannah Cockcroft, still makes me tingle when I think of it now. Happy memories.
The programme was very interesting and he appears such a shy self effacing person but so so determined; obviously I suppose.
