Frank
Meet Frank Broyles. Or, actually, a likeness of him here. In Arkansas, many consider him a hero while others view him as a villain. As coach, he led the Arkansas Razorbacks football team to the national title. Many years later, as head of the University of Arkansas athletic program, he became part of the powerful and privileged. He was never without controversy. Frank's quite old now, and no longer in charge of athletics. Sometimes he gets out in public, waves and smiles. I hear he has dementia. But in Arkansas, if you ask people who are the two most important men in the state's history, they'll likely say Bill Clinton and Frank Broyles. (If you ask me, however, I'll tell you Johnny Cash and Charlie Rich!)
