Complaining Pays Off

I really enjoy knitting and crochet but I usually spoil my projects by using inferior yarn (I'm too stingy to buy quality).

However, I have acquired a beautiful book full of beautiful patterns so I thought I would treat myself to the beautiful yarn recommended in said book. It wasn't easy to find but I tracked it down online and placed my order. The delivery came in record time in the most exquisite package. It was worth buying the yarn for the packaging alone.

But what a disappointment the yarn turned out to be. It would have been cheaper to buy a couple of balls of coloured string. I was so disappointed that when I was invited to give 'feedback' on my order I (politely) told them what I thought. As a result, I have been offered 10% off my next order.

I might have to complain more often...
