Firemans lift....

As it was my colleagues last day in work today a few of us took the lift to the underground car park to wave her off. She was in tears and very emotional whilst in the lift then all of a sudden panic struck her face! The lift had stopped in between floors and we were stuck!

I used the alarm bells and rang the engineer, they advised the wait would be around 45 minutes! My colleague who was outside the lift advised she would call the fire brigade as the wait was too long.

During the wait I decided to entertain my colleagues by playing the following tunes to cheer them up; I'm going down by Mary J Blige, Working in a coal mine by Lee Dorset, Man down by Rhianna and Mr Lover Lover by Shabba ranks for my colleague Steve as he was loving being trapped with 4 women!

After almost an hour these very lovely men managed to open the lift and safely evacuate us from said lift. It was a very entertaining hour and all ended well.
