Meandering Stream, Itchingfield

I stopped off at Itchingfield as at last the rain had stopped and it was fine. The mud however is terrible and walking over the fields is not really feasible without waterproofs all over and good wellies! At least I had the latter which literally live in the back of my car in a big carrier bag!

The stream here is behind the church in a small area of woodland at the bottom of a fairly steep slope and this view is looking roughly NE downstream from the pblic bridleway. The water is of course higher due to the incessant rain, but is not serious.
