Mount Teide

Our adventure continued today when we drove into the mountains and through the volcanic Teide National Park.

We ascended the awesome 3,718 metre (12,198 ft) Mount Teide by cable car, which was a great way to see the surrounding luna landscape and the distance the lava spewed out when it last erupted in 1909.

The drive through the mountains was equally breathtaking with stunning views of pine clad forests, mountain peaks rising majestically through the clouds and the most beautiful Spring blossom you will find anywhere.
