So much rain!

It was my bird group today, but I'm afraid I cried off, as after such a stressful weekend I couldn't face a morning wandering around in the wind and the rain at a location we'd recently visited anyway.

So I spent the morning doing a lot of boring old chores and then went out birding on my own - mainly from my van!

There weren't many birds braving the weather, but this male blackbird seemed happy enough to be photographed through the van window!
