Treacle Toffee

Some of the Treacle Toffee I made for my guests at tomorrow night's party. It is a lovely coal-black colour, sweet and crunchy. No responsibility accepted for any dental damage!

By request, here is the recipe:
8 oz treacle
2oz golden syrup
8oz soft brown sugar
4 oz butter
3 fl oz water

Put in heavy based saucepan.
Heat until boiling, stirring continuously.
Boil for 5-10 mins until reachs 230F or a teaspoonful becomes hard and brittle in cold water.
Pour into a buttered non-stick tin and leave to cool.
