As you can see, the last resting place of Manfred von Richthofen isn't particularly grand (those plastic things are candles of remembrance).

He was only 25 when he died. Too many die young.

Had a bit of a longer wander at lunchtime today after a very stressful morning. Not WWI fighter pilot stressful but hey-hoe. And I say longer but it was only about 8 minutes more than normal. However the graveyard is much quieter than anywhere else around and there's virtually no-one there at lunchtime. Perfect for getting your head back into the right place and kicking the afternoon's botty.

And after work as I came out of the office, I met a chum and we walked into town together. Always good to talk German with someone different.
