Harden Moor

Between the showers we have had some lovely sunshine, but as I write this the white stuff is falling out of the sky!

It was bracing up on the moor, but certainly cleared out the airways and tear ducts!

As you can see it is very wet and muddy up there but the sun was lighting up the rocks ( all left overs from quarrying years ago). The builders bags you can see are piled up in various places across there . They are not full of sand but of heather which has been harvested . I'm guessing they will be dropped on other moors nearby to re sow after fires. It has been done before very successfully, so I assume they are waiting for the right conditions to lift them off and put a little bit of Harden Moor in all its glory elsewhere.
