Blacksmith Lapwing (Vanellus armatus)

I saw this one and his partner in the exact same spot where I shot this one on Tuesday. You will find some interesting information on them here!

They were not as aggressive as the other two, maybe they haven't got babies at the moment. ;-)

Please note the differences:
*This one has a black beak, black legs and a black and white body with a white 'crown'!

*The Vanellus coronatus, blipped on Tuesday, has a red beak, red legs, grey/brown body and a black and white 'crown'.

We have visitors for the weekend, R snr's mother and her grandson with his fiancé.
