The Bavarian Alps

The Bavarian Alps as seen from the little hill in Riemer Park, which used to be Munich Airport until 1992. The old airport has been converted partly into a trade fair, partly into a residential area and partly into a beautiful (and huge) park.

The viewing direction is southeast.

Neither the first, nor the best Alpina panorama I ever was able to accomplish. But you have to take what you get.
