London Weekend, Day 3: 3 exhibitions & Blipmeet #2
The Photographer's Gallery in Ramillies Street shows three artists I knew but had never seen photos by.
I first saw David Lynch's Factories, then a selection of photos by William S. Burroughs, and finally some work by Andy Warhol. Very impressed by some of Lynch's pictures (the eerie effect, close to that achieved in Eraserhead, is heightened by the soundtrack, composed by Lynch himself, and broadcast through three different channels), intrigued by Burroughs' work. None of the above as far as Warhol is concerned...
Then another great lunch with a fellow blipper, Lazooligirl. Too short a time, but I'm sure we'll meet again!
This shot was taken through the window of the Photographers' Gallery. A word is lacking. Will you guess what it is?
