New Shoot ...

A watery sun, the first half of the day. The wind is picking up. In the course of the afternoon and evening, the storm will be back again.

Our thoughts go out to the residents of the already flooded areas in England. It's is predicted they get even harder to endure ... :((

In the backyard the rose bush - in response to the storm and adverse weather forecasts - shows a new shoot. And there's green aphid again. So it seems all but frozen to death!

Tanks everyone for your sympathy and kind remarks on my dental visit. After a day and night in bad afterglow I was pain free up this very morning... ;))
