Lego!

This has to be the best toy ever and now we even have the Lego - The Movie! These bricks are 30+ years old and the first thing the grand-children go to when they come round. I find models like this one in all sorts of hidden places unable to break them up until the next lego fest. Surely there can't be anything to compare with this toy that encourages a child's imagination, dexterity and construction skills whilst spanning the age ranges like no other. And then there is nothing in the world quite like the pain of kneeling on a single lego brick when you least expect it!
