Try to see it my way…….

There was so much smoke filling the air today that it hung like a fog all around us.
So tonight we headed down to the beach to get a bit of relief from having to breathe it in all day.
Of course that's nothing compared to what is happening in the areas where the fires have been raging. We have family in the Chintin area and they have been in the thick of it since Sunday. Fortunately, they are fine and their house escaped the worst of the fires, their neighbour wasn't so lucky, his house is gone, its such a shame.

It lifted my spirits when I saw the antics of these two gulls, lots of attitude and posturing, they were hilarious, a real double act.
It was hard to come down to one image of them….
