Morning's necklace

A few dew drops may be commonplace to those around the globe, but where things have been so bone-crunchingly dry, to wake up to a morning, bejewelled with droplets of light and wetness was heaven.

Here the dew mingles with the feathery flowers of the cotinus or smoke bush.
