Crop burn off's!

Its that time of the year again when the air quality in Mid Canterbury takes a turn for the worst. Crop burn offs of stubble is rather hotly debated as to its merits either for or against. Which ever side of the fence your on doesn't seem to make an ounce of difference as they still continue regardless.
For me I'd prefer that they where plowed in and not burnt off as the whole area will be a soft pink haze for the next couple of months which detracts from our clean green image that I'm proud of. Long may it last.
