You could find him (like me today) on Coates Crescent and Shandwick Place.

So here I go with five interesting quotes from William Ewart Gladstone, one of the Britain's greatest Prime Ministers. Gladstone was Britain's oldest Prime Minister, 84 when he resigned for the last time. He had also served as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

happiness

"Be happy with what you have and are, be generous with both, and you won't have to hunt for happiness."

failure

"Failure is success if we learn from it.”

selfishness

"Selfishness is the greatest curse of the human race. "

greatness

“No man ever became great or good except through many and great mistakes.”

future

"You cannot fight against the future. Time is on our side."

William Ewart Gladstone 1809 -1898

So just a few inspirational words for Monday.

Hope that you like it.
