Spring is the child of winter

I walked outside today after another snowstorm and came upon this lovely sight - a robin's nest sprinkled with snow. It amazes me how it has survived through one storm after another - a lesson for us all. Very pretty close-up. It made me very happy as I know Spring is just around the corner.

It may be a looooong corner, however; forecasters are predicting more snow, up to eight-inches, for Wednesday night into Thursday. Yikes!
