Another Sunset behind

The stepson has been back from Australia, where he lives and works, for just over a fortnight. He came back to attend a friends long stag weekend in Amsterdam and visit friends. Suffice to say we hardly saw him as it was one long party and old people aren't invited. Today, was his flight home from Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport at 10pm. Before we hit the Severn Bridge at 4.30pm he was snoring on the back seat having spent the previous 20 minutes texting.

As we hit Swindon on the M4 I saw this lovely sunset. The sun was setting behind us and I could only catch it in the wing mirror.

As we pulled up at Heathrow, at 6.30pm, he was still asleep: So much for long goodbyes!!

Kids won't change and nor does the beauty of another day ending....however we see it.
