300 = the number of curls I cut off D's hair tonight.
300 hours = the length of time it will take to get all the wee tiny bits of hair off the floor.
300 - the number of stitches I've ripped out of the latest* cross stitch I'm doing.

*I do wish I would hurry up and finish this one - it's horrible a bad pattern with lots of half stitches and many many changes of colour. She'd better love it, that's all I can say (regularly! everyone is fed up hearing it!) BUT I've got other things I WANT to do. . . . SO I need to get on with it.
